Calculation of the shipping costs:

Shipping charges for national as well as international orders are calculated automatically during the order process, according to the weight of the merchandise. Multiple items will be added together, thus the total weight of your order will be the basis to calculate your shipping costs.
No extra costs for packaging material or handling.

Available services in detail and Shipping times:

DHL Large Letter, airmail:
For small and lightweight items we offer this service. The shipping costs are quite low and delivery is fairly quick, approximately one week, maybe some days more, worldwide.
Please note that this service has no insurance cover and cannot be tracked.

DHL economy:
This is the basic DHL shipping method, a registered and insured parcel. This is the cheapest way to send a registered parcel.
Shipping time:

• US: approximately 2 to 3 weeks During the Christmas season: occasionally considerably longer!
  In extreme cases 4 to 6 weeks!
  No tracking number available.
  (If necessary, the parcel can be tracked by DHL and the USPS only)
  Limited insurance cover - see below.
• EU: 3 to 6 business days, depending on country.
  This service is not available for all EU countries, neighboring countries to Germany require premium shipping (DHL regulation). Limited insurance cover - see below.
• worldwide: approximately 2 to 3 weeks No tracking number available.
  (If necessary, the parcel can be tracked by DHL and the USPS only)
  Limited insurance cover - see below.
  
  Important:
  Limited insurance cover with economy shipping.
  Unfortunately, the insurance cover for this shipping service is rather limited.
  The maximum refund amount is graded by weight and value of the parcel:
  5 kg max. € 70.96
  10 kg max. € 96.51
  15 kg max. € 147.60

  In the case of damage we can only refund the amounts refunded by DHL. Please take this into account when selecting the shipping service. With DHL premium, you automatically have a higher insurance cover.
  All our parcels are packed as carefully as possible. However, we have no in fluence on the handling of parcels during shipment.

DHL premium:
Our recommended shipping service.
This is the upgraded DHL shipping method, a registered and insured parcel. This is the fastest way to send a parcel for a reasonable price.
Included insurance cover up to € 500.-
Shipping time:

• US: approximately 7 to 10 business days
  This shipping time is not guaranteed!
  During the Christmas season: occasionally considerably longer!
  In extreme cases 2 to 4 weeks!
• EU: 2 to 3 business days, depending on country
  Some EU countries, predominantly those neighboring Germany, require pre mium shipping (DHL regulation)
• worldwide: approximately 7 to 10 business days
  This shipping time is not guaranteed!

Easier and cheaper processing of import tariffs:
The base fee for import shipments is included in the shipping costs!
Thus import duties will be lower. (Base fee is not included in economy shipping.)
Tracking number is provided by DHL. (no guarantee on traceability of the parcel though, this depends ultimately on the destination country‘s mail service and its information policy)
Higher insurance cover.
Premium parcels have an included insurance cover up to € 500.-

DHL Express:
This is the fastest service DHL offers, a registered and insured parcel.
Delivery all over the world extremely quick.
Shipping time:

• US: 2 to 3 business days
• EU: 1 to 2 business days
• Worldwide: 2 to 4 business days

This service is based on dimensional weight. Depending on the size of the parcel, this service is very expensive.
Insurance cover included up to € 2500.-

Customs Duties / Import tariffs:
Only applicable for shipments outside the European Union.
All items in this online-shop will be shipped from Germany. Therefore, any order shipped to a destination outside the EU will be subject to import tariffs when the parcel arrives.
Merchandise sold to buyers from outside the EU will be priced free of VAT / German value added tax. The recipient of the parcel will be responsible for the import of the merchandise and the applicable fees / tariffs on arrival of the parcel.
These vary in each country; your local customs office will be glad to help you with the current status of import regulations.

Handling and packaging of your order:
We make great efforts to organize the shipping of your order as safely and quickly as possible.

Shipping services to world-wide destinations are very expensive. Therefore, we only charge the actual shipping costs we have – no handling fee is charged for your order.

Packaging:

Nevertheless, many of our products are very fragile and need extremely careful wrapping and packaging. We have an elaborate packing machine to guarantee a packing as safe as possible.

We use a two component foam system, which allows for an exactly shaped wrapping of the items.

The warm and liquid foam expands as soon as the two foam components are mixed. While inflating, the foam shapes itself around the product.
Cooling down, the foam hardens and keeps the product exactly in place. It is nevertheless still soft enough to allow for a cushioning of the items inside the parcel.
